A one-off show into Indonesia’s ancient traditions

Exclusive to Festival Indonesia 2010 will be an Indonesian Night, a one-off special performance concert on 22nd October at Federation Square’s BMW Edge.
The concert will showcase a journey of the historical evolution of Indonesia’s cultural performances and will begin from the modern dances of today and conclude with the traditional performances of the ancient kingdoms.
Performers are from a range of professional dance groups across Indonesia and will visit Melbourne to stage this one-off show.
Props and costumes will be brought down from Indonesia for a show that promises to be vibrant, colourful and extraordinarily dynamic.
